Anxiety
When worry, panic or a constant sense of unease start to run the show, counselling can help you understand what's driving it and find calmer, steadier ground.
There is no single 'right' way through — so I don't work to a formula. I get to know you, then draw on the approach that fits you best.
I'm an integrative counsellor, which simply means I don't tie myself to one method. After really listening to what's going on for you, I draw on whichever approach will help most — often a blend of several.
In practice that means working with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred Therapy, Transactional Analysis and Gestalt. What stays constant is the relationship: a safe, trusting space where you feel heard and are never judged.
I work with adults, and with couples. Sessions are available in person near Camborne, online by video, or by telephone — whichever feels most comfortable for you.
When worry, panic or a constant sense of unease start to run the show, counselling can help you understand what's driving it and find calmer, steadier ground.
When everything feels heavy, flat or hopeless, having someone to talk to — and gentle, practical support — can help you find a way back towards yourself.
A difficult or traumatic past can shape how we feel for years. I offer careful, paced support to help you work through those experiences and move towards peace and acceptance.
Whether it's you or someone close to you, I offer non-judgemental support around addiction and the feelings and patterns that sit beneath it.
If you've grown up believing you're 'not enough', counselling can help you understand where that came from and begin, perhaps for the first time, to believe in yourself.
There's no pressure and no obligation — just a friendly first conversation to see how I can help.
